Half day tour walking around Santiago (Private)

After checking-in we’ll head out on a walking tour of Santiago city, which will allow us to appreciate this vibrant city from a different angle, where modernity coexists in harmony with little corners that recall the past. We’ll start off at the Metro that will take us to Plaza de la Constitución, located in front of the Palacio de la Moneda, the building that serves the current seat of the government.  We’ll walk around the center and appreciate the different buildings around, such as the Court of Justice, the old Customs House now turned into the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, the Plaza de Armas (Main Square) and the buildings that surround it – the Municipality, post Office, the National Historical Museum and the Cathedral. Our route then takes us towards the bustling Paseo Ahumada and then across O’Higgins Avenue, better known as the “Alameda”. This is considered the backbone of the city and it is where the oldest building in the country is located: the church of San Francisco. Right next to it we’ll find the charming neighborhood of Paris-London, which will have the opportunity to visit, and perhaps enjoy a cup of coffee.

Full Day Valparaíso & Casas del Bosque winery in Casablanca valley (Regular Services)

Today’s journey will take us from Santiago towards the coast, traveling through the fertile valleys of Curacavi and Casablanca with its vineyards, fruit plantations and forest reserves. We’ll travel 120 km to visit Valparaiso, a beautiful port city founded in the 16th century and declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Our visit to Valparaiso starts off with a panoramic tour of the emblematic places the city holds, such as the National Congress, O'Higgins Park, Italy Park, Victoria and Sotomayor squares and the Prat Pier, located in the port. We’ll then continue our walk through the wonderful Atkinson and Gervasoni lookouts, located on the most important hills of Valparaiso: Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepción. We’ll also get to ride on the old and picturesque cable cars, which to this day still connect the city. Finally, we’ll visit the Casas del Bosque Vineyard in Casablanca Valley, established in 1993 by a son of Italian immigrants, and one of the first in the area. The tour will start with a short film about the Casablanca valley and the winemaking process. Afterwards we’ll head to the winery, where we’ll have a tasting of 4 different types of wine.

At the end of the visit we’ll return to Santiago city and you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

Transfer from hotel to Colchagua Valley (Private Service)

Today’s tour starts from your hotel towards the south. We will travel through the picturesque Chilean countryside, known as “Valle de Colchagua” famous for its large production of fruits and vegetables. This agricultural and fertile valley begins in the Andes mountains and extends westward to the Pacific Ocean. Historically, the valley was designed for wine making – there are more than 15 vineyards producing different varieties of wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carménère, Syrah and Malbec.

Our excursion will take us to the Montgras winery, where we’ll enjoy a Tour and Tasting with Pairing. We’ll taste and learn about the characteristics of 3 different varieties of wine along with specially selected products that help find the perfect balance between food and wine. Later on, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Hotel Santa Cruz followed by a visit to the Colchagua Museum, located in the small town of Santa Cruz. The Museum, which belongs to the non-profit organization Cardoen’s Foundation, opened its doors in 1995. It has a range of very important historical objects on display that will no doubt take us back to our origins.

At the end of the afternoon you’ll be dropped off at your selected hotel in Santa Cruz.

Our tour through the Valley’s vineyards continues today with a visit to the renowned Viu Manent vineyard. Founded in 1935, the long history of the winery has been guided by the family's love of trade and its tireless commitment to the excellence and quality of its wines. Here, we’ll enjoy a beautiful tasting of different red wined the winery offers, followed by lunch.

After lunch we’ll head to Santa Cruz vineyard, where we'll get to embark on the Body and Soul excursion.

The tour begins with the Body part of the Santa Cruz wines, in the garden of varieties, where we’ll learn about the different varieties they offer with the guided tour of the winery. We’ll learn all about the wine-making process and visit different areas, such as the courtyards and the barrel rooms. Then, we’ll get to taste two of their wines, one from the Reserve line and one from the Gran Línea Reserve.

Afterwards we’ll get on a cable car that will lead us to the Soul of their wines through an incredible view of the valley and the vineyards. On the hill Chamán, we’ll visit the Indigenous Peoples, where on a self-guided tour you’ll discover how the Aymara, Mapuche and Rapa Nui cultures lived in harmony with nature and its environment. We’ll learn about their rituals, beliefs and especially their guides: La Machi and El Chamán, which inspired the wines of Santa Cruz Vineyard.

At the end of the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast we’ll head out to visit our last vineyard in the valley: the famous Montes vineyard, known for its fantastic excursion and delicious tastings, which include a tour of its beautiful vineyards with a panoramic view of the Apalta Valley.

We’ll first walk around the winery, where Premium and Ultra-Premium wines are produced. Then we will visit the barrel room and we’ll get to taste three of their wines. The tour finishes in the Vineyard’s wine shop, where you’ll be able to get some gifts or souvenirs to remember this amazing experience.

Afterwards, we’ll enjoy your lunch at Hotel Santa Cruz and then make our way back to Santiago. Upon arriving at the city you’ll be dropped off at your selected hotel.

After breakfast, at the scheduled time, you will be transferred to Santiago airport to take your outbound flight.
