Itinerary
Day 1, Thursday. La Paz/Puno / Copacabana / Yampupata / Island of the Sun / Ecolodge La Estancia
The journey will take 3 ½ hours from La Paz or Puno to Copacabana, a nice town in the shores of Lake Titicaca. The hike will start when we arrive to La Gruta, after walking for 3 hours, going up an Inca trail we will arrive to a pass where we will be able to admire the most amazing views of the place. The hike will continue to Yampupata, where the descent to the bay starts, then we will take a boat to the Island of the Sun, a sacred spot for the Incas. We will visit the Pilkokaina ruins and keep the hiking for 1 hour more to reach the Estancia.

Day 2, Friday. Island of the Sun / Boat to La Chincana / Hike across the Island of the Sun
You will have the great opportunity to admire an incredible sunrise! We will take a boat to the northern part of the island and visit the Chincana ruins and Sacred rock for about 1 hour, then you will be walking towards Challampampa, a small and a pretty town. We will continue our journey by boat to Challa, where we will visit its cultural museum. The hike up to the Ecolodge will take 3 hours. The afternoon is free to enjoy the beauty and mysticism of the area.

Day 3, Saturday. Island of the Sun / Copacabana / Condoriri / La Paz
We will start the hike through the village of Yumani in the Garden of the Incas, after a 1 hour boat trip, we will reach to Copacabana. The transfer will be up to La Rinconada, located at the foothills of the Andes Range. After enjoying a box-lunch, we will be hiking 2 more hours to Chiarkota Lagoon and back. After that we will return to La Paz.

Day 4, Sunday. La Paz

OPTION A: Full day - Downhill “Death Road”
Live an incredible experience at the famous “Death Road” in Bolivia. This full day starts in La Paz in a shared transportation to La Cumbre, where you will be start biking from the snowcapped mountains of the Andes and descends through its eastern flanks steep and down until Yolosa at 1,150 m/3,772 ft (5 hours). You'll cross waterfalls, cliffs and appreciate how the vegetation slowly varies to the rainforests and tropics of the Amazon. You will have lunch at “Senda Verde Animal Refuge”, an organization who protect and rescue wild injured animals from the jungle; you will have time to enjoy the scenery of the place and get to know the rescued animals.

OPTION B: Half day - Shoe shiners city tour La Paz + Teleférico (new cable car)
If you want to discover La Paz from a different perspective, this is the experience you are looking for. This half day tour is a unique visit to the most emblematic places of La Paz, guided by one “lustra botas” –shoeshiner-, who will give you a different impression of this city, its tastes and scenery. After that, you will take the Teleférico (cable car), to discover an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz. This ride, in the highest and longest cable car in the world, is a must for everyone!

OPTION C: Half day - Hike in “Valley of the spirits” & Palca Canyon
In the morning, you will be transferred to Valle de Las Ánimas or Valley of Spirits, where the hiking tour will start (3 h). This valley is located further away from the south part of La Paz city and it is used to describe the eerily eroded canyons and fantastic organ-pipe spires to the Cañón de Palca.
The scenery resembles to the Moon Valley, but on a bigger scale.

Day 5, Monday. Departure from La Paz
