Transfer from the Bariloche Airport to the hotel.
On the afternoon, take an authentic sightseeing tour of Bariloche, one of the most beautiful corners of the world, filled with enormous lakes, rushing rivers, snow-capped mountains, and plenty of flora and fauna. The tour takes you around Lake Nahuel Huapi on the road named Avenida Bustillo, to Playa Bonita, with its magnificent vista of Huemul Island. You will reach Campanario Hill and you will climb to its summit and look out upon some of the most astonishing vistas: Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Perito Moreno, San Pedro Peninsula, Victoria Island, Otto Hill, Lopez Hill, and Goye Hill, and the city. At Llao-Llao, you will visit the San Eduardo Chapel and Pañuelo, a port on Lake Nahuel Huapi. Afterwards, you will cross Lake Moreno on a bridge and, on the way back, you will drive around Lake El Trebol and Lake Nahuel Huapi, until you meet up again with Avenida Bustillos. Approx. 4 hours.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel approx. 11 km from either San Carlos
(Center) or Puerto Pañuelo (Llao Llao), you will disembark at Victoria Island, known for its steep cliffs and different species of animals and plants, as well as ancient rock paintings. You can walk through a pine tree nursery and climb to the top of Bella Vista Hill. Later, you will set sail for the Quetrihue Peninsula. The attraction here is the Arrayanes Forest, declared a Natural Monument. It is a lovely forested area, characteristically cinnamon in color, its trees snow covered in the freezing cold, and boasting a famous log cabin. This spot was Walt Disney’s inspiration for the film Bambi. After enjoying this dream-like experience, you will return to Puerto Pañuelo.

Lake Crossing to Puerto Montt
Not far from Bariloche is Puerto Pañuelo, from where you will set sail across the Blest branch of Lake Nahuel Huapi to check out Los Cantaros Falls. Peulla Inn is the next stop, for a delicious lunch. Next, you will board a bus to Puerto Alegre, this time taking ship on Lake Frias to enjoy a magnificent view of Tronador Hill. At Puerto Frias, another bus awaits to take you to Peulla, along the way enjoying the view of lush Andean vegetation. You will have to pass through customs to enter Chile, but once across the border you will sail on Lake Todos los Santos and marvel at Mount Puntiagudo and Mount Osorno, an incredible cone-shaped volcano. After landfall, you board another bus for Petrohue Falls, driving around Lake Llanquihue to Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt.
Suggestion: Take 1 night in Puerto Montt and 2 days in Lake Crossing.
