Itinerary

Day 1: City tour

All the magic of Argentina's capital in a tour that includes the districts of La Recoleta and Palmero, plus the Colon Theater, Plaza de Mayo, Cathedral, Avenida de Mayo, the Building of Congress, and many other sites and palaces that boast special architectural, historical, and cultural significance. This day also includes a tour of the home of Buenos Aires' aristocracy until the end of the 19th century, the old San Telmo, the street, Caminito, in La Boca, a colorful district where Italian immigrants settled, and another famous district, Puerto Madero. On Sunday, you will visit the San Telmo Fair.

Day 2: Free day

You will have a free day to visit the parts of the city you wish to visit.

*Optional: Gaucho festival

In this occasion, you will enjoy some time on a typical ranch in the Argentine prairie, just a few kilometers from the city of Buenos Aires and in the midst of an incredibly lovely natural setting and surrounding by the scent of the wilderness. Delicious food, like the customary barbecue (asado criollo) and turnovers, and excellent wines will complete this experience. There will be traditional folk songs and dances and spectacles of horsemanship, like the "carrera de sortijas" (ring race), horse races, and mixing and matching of herds. By the end of the day, you will understand a little more about the particular lifestyle on the Argentine ranches that embody the gaucho (cowboy), symbol of masculinity in these lands.

Day 3: Free day

Today will be another free day.

*Optional: El Tigre

Just 30 kilometer north of the capital is the Parana River delta. You will navigate rivulets and canals, enjoying nature in all its splendor. As you sail down the River Plate, you will see the famous soccer stadium, different swim clubs, and upscale neighborhoods. Once you get close to the San Isidro Station, you will disembark and visit the magnificent 19th century Neo-gothic cathedral, and then continue on through different residential districts until reaching the Tigre boat station. At night, you will have the chance to enjoy dinner and a tango show.

Day 4: Transfer to the Airport

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport.
