Buenos Aires Experience - Argentina

Day 1:

- Transfer from the Ezeiza International

Airport to the hotel.

Lodging at the Hotel Legado Mítico or similar establishment.

Day 2:

- Half day city tour.

You will definitely visit the renowned

landmarks of Buenos Aires, like the Colon Theater (recently renovated), Plaza de Mayo, the Cathedral, Avenida de Mayo, the Congress Building, and other important buildings. The excursion takes you to the neighborhood of San Telmo, where you get to explore the tunnels of the Zanjon, a trip through 400 years of the city’s history and its most important archeological site. The artifacts and buildings date back to the 18th century. If you are lucky enough to visit on a Sunday, then that means the San Telmo antiquities fair which attracts more than 20,000 people every time it’s held. In La Boca, you will find Calle Caminito, overflowing with stories about Buenos Aires and the immigrants who washed up on the Argentine shores there. Later on, it’s off to Puerto Madero, a modern district whose skyscrapers tower into the heavens, just a few blocks from the Plata River.

Still other charming places await, like La Recoleta with its aristocratic history, old mansions, and well-manicured gardens and parks. Last stop, fashionable Palermo: good food and business deals are found aplenty.

- Mataderos Fair

45 minutes from downtown, in the old Mercado de Hacienda and Matadero Publico, is where they hold the Mataderos Fair, the best spot in the city to learn about the dress and customs of the Argentine cowboys, known as gauchos.

There’s no better venue for checking out a show of folk dancing and music or for buying handicrafts (gourds, “bombachas de campo” - a type of pants-, and leather belts).

Note: The fair takes place on Sundays, from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M. In January and February, it’s open only on Saturdays during the night.

Lodging at the Hotel Legado Mítico or similar establishment.

Day 3:

- Half day excursion.

Lately, Buenos Aires has become one of the

world’s most innovative and vibrant cities for appreciating urban art. We’ve traced a very offbeat route to some of the hotspots for graffiti and urban art galleries.

- Night of dancing “A lo Guapo” dance club.

We promise you a genuine Buenos Aires night of dancing and of immersing yourself in this world of partying and tango which the denizens of this city so enjoy. The milongas (clubs) don’t open until midnight.

Lodging at the Hotel Legado Mítico or similar establishment.

Day 4:

- Transfer from the hotel to the Ezeiza International Airport.
