You will leave for Mullak´as-Mismimay, beginning the ascent to Cruzpata riding traditional Peruvian paso horses that are led by the very community members. At last, surrounded by the most gorgeous views of the Vilcabamba and Urubamba ranges, you will reach the Pillwaraq Lookout or Pass (3765 m), which will lead you back to the community. Once there, you will enjoy a well deserved outdoor lunch and a good rest.
The adventure continues with a visit to the Callicalliyoq Lookout; from there, you will ascend to an elevation of 4030 m and take a break to look at the surrounding landscape: the Maras and Anta pampas, Lake Huaypo, and the upper part of the Pachar and Huaracondo canyons. After those delightful and energizing views, you hike down to Misminay and enjoy a traditional lunch made with locally grown produce. Later on, you will learn the traditional knitting techniques of the townsfolk, ride a bicycle, go for a horseback ride, or simply hike around the area.
Today, you will take a bicycle ride to the top of the Pachar Canyon following a trail that ascends to the Moray Lookout. The incredible Moray archeological complex is found there as well. It is a sort of a greenhouse or agricultural laboratory, quite advanced for its time and something that will certainly astound you. Leaving Moray behind, you will pedal your way to the final destination: Pachar Canyon, dismount, and descend by foot to the Sacred Valley of the Incas until you reach Pomatales, where you will wait for the bus that will take you back to Ollantaytambo.
