Itinerary

Day 1

You arrive in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Day 2
City Tour and Pan de Azucar
This expansive excursion into the city starts in downtown where you will pass through Sambadrome and the Metropolitan Capital. Sights you will see along the way include the traditional street Calle Cinelandia, the Municipal Theater, National Library, and the Fine Arts Museum. The tour moves on to the district of Urcas, specifically Vermelha Beach, where you will board a cable car and ride to the top of Pan de Azucar Hill. From this vantage point, the views of the downtown area and beaches are simply extraordinary.

Day 3
Half day excursion to Corcovado and Floresta da Tijuca (Tijuca Forest)
This day is set aside for the marvelous views of the city from the top of Cristo del Corcovado Hill, located in the Tijuca Forest, the world's largest urban forest. From this height, you will see the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon plus Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon and the Botanical Gardens. A short hike through the forest to the Cascatinha (waterfall) is also planned.

Day 4
Iguassu: Brazilian side / Macuco Falls and a boat ride
Your day today promises to be something totally unique: visiting Iguassu Falls. After entering Iguassu National Park, you will head off towards Macuco Falls and the banks of the Iguazu River. A boat awaits you to take you to the Iguassu Gorge, the heart of the powerful waterfall and spot that affords you an incredible view of this spectacle of nature. It is certainly something that will forever be etched in your memory.

Day 5
Iguazu: Argentine side
First, you will cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge that connects Brazil and Argentina. Once in Argentina, you will travel to Iguazu National Park. The Argentine side is known for its unbeatable view of the falls and surrounding forest. You will have plenty of time to visit the upper falls and watch as the water tumbles downward, and you will also visit San Martin Falls. On the way back, the bus will stop at a shopping district, and, if time and the weather allow, you will visit the three borders point, where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet.

Day 6
International departure


At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for your departing international flight.
