Located in the north of the country, the city of Trujillo was the center of power of the Moche and Chimú cultures. Its historic center is full of buildings from the vice regal era, whose main distinguishing feature is latticework in the shape of a lace, and within walking distance is the largest mud city in the pre-Hispanic world: Chan Chan. On the other hand, Chiclayo offers a trip through the history, gastronomy and natural landscapes of Peru. In this city the most important archaeological monuments of recent years have been found, belonging to the Moche, Chimú and Lambayeque or Sicán cultures.
Upon arrival you will be assisted at the Chiclayo airport and then transferred to your hotel.

Visit to Royal Tombs Museum
This magnificent and modern three-story museum, opened in November 2002, is considered one of the largest museums in the country and contains the most important archaeological legacies of the Moche Culture: jewels, ornaments, and other items discovered in the tombs of the Lord of Sipán. All the exposed pieces are the originals.

Visit the El Brujo Archaeological Complex on the Chiclayo - Trujillo route
Departure to The Spring City "Trujillo". On the way, you will visit the Archaeological Complex "El Brujo" where you will see the archaeologists doing work in the excavation in the Moche Pyramid of Cabo Viejo, north of Trujillo, near the mouth of the Chicama River. This pre-Columbian religious ceremonial complex dates back 500 years and was originally formed by three pyramids. Huaca Prieta, where archaeologists discovered the first decorated textiles, is also found in this place.

City Tour, Archeology Museum, Temple of the Dragon and Chan Chan (full day visit)
You will visit beautiful colonial mansions in Trujillo and marvel at its imposing portals, balconies and churches. Then, continue to the Museum of Archeology of the National University of Trujillo, for a general recognition of the pre-Columbian cultures of the region. Afterwards, you will get to know the ceremonial temple of the Dragon. Then, continue to Huanchaco, a fishing cove where you can see the old boats called Caballitos de Totora, with which the ancient tradition of artisan fishing is maintained. After lunch, you will visit the archaeological complex of Chan Chan, which is formed by nine citadels and was known as the capital of the Chimú Kingdom.
