You arrive in the city of Santa Cruz in Bolivia's largest department and will visit its main landmarks, like the zoo and the Recoba Handicrafts Market.
You start off in Santa Cruz, traveling to Chiquitania, the site where the Jesuits established a series of missions during the second half of the 17th century. The first of these missions, built in 1691, is in the town of San Javier and forms part of UNESCO's World Heritage List. Another significant attraction is the town of Concepción and its incredibly beautiful Baroque church.
A tour of the city of Concepción awaits you this day, stopping at its churches to marvel at their architecture. This place is also an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Later on, you will return to the city of Santa Cruz.
