Aero-Crucero Antarctica Express - Chile

Day 1

Your journey begins in Ushuaia, Argentina, sailing on the Ocean Nova across the Beagle Channel to Port Williams, the southernmost city in the world. We will walk around the city before setting off for Cape Horn.

Due to port operations in Ushuaia, boarding is between 3:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. Boarding closes at 4:00 P.M. Please be on time. Keep your passport on hand, and allow enough time to clear port security and to reach the vessel. Thank you!

Day 2

After crossing Nassau Bay, legendary Cape Horn will be in full view. If weather permits, we will board our Zodiacs and be one of the few privileged adventurers to step foot on this famous and rarely visited island. Back on board, we set sail towards Antarctica and cross the famous passage named in honor of Sir Francis Drake, the great 16th century British explorer.

Day 3:

While sailing across Drake Passage en route to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands, you can take part in a discussion and presentation and watch wildlife from the bridge or the decks along with our tour guides. We will have the opportunity to observe amazing marine birds, like the albatross and petrel, etc. Also, we may see whales traveling south towards Antarctica.

Day 4

After crossing the Antarctic Convergence, we will notice a marked change in the environment. Get your camera ready since we will see the first icebergs and the first signs of Antarctic land. Once among the South Shetland Islands, we sail through bays and icebergs, in the company of marine birds, penguins, and whales. There will be another short hop in our Zodiacs for a memorable shore visit to a penguin colony. Exploration will continue into the evening hours, thanks to the endless Antarctic daylight.

Day 5:

When reaching King George Island, we will disembark in Fildes Bay and explore the area, such as the Chilean Base Frei and the Russian Base Bellingshausen. With one last look, bid farewell to Antarctica before boarding the flight back to Punta Arenas (Chile). The program ends upon arrival at Punta Arenas Airport.

Transfer to the city will be available for passengers staying overnight in Punta Arenas. One complimentary hotel night in Punta Arenas is offered upon request on Day 5 of the travel program.

All of our adventure programs are inspired by destinations that evoke mystery and are charged with mystical energy. Our brand, Liv, Condor Travel is always on the lookout for the best routes on each journey.
