Argentina and Brazil: days of tango and samba - Brazil, Argentina


Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Buenos Aires and lodge in the city.

Day 2: Half day excursion in the city

Visit the City of the Tango's main landmarks: Plaza de Mayo and nearby Rosada House, the City Hall, and the Cathedral. Stroll down the charming and colorful streets of the districts of San Telmo and La Boca and tour the city's most elegant neighborhoods: La Recoleta and Palermo.

Day 3: Free day

You will have a free day to go shopping or to do some more sightseeing in the city.

Full day excursion – Fiesta Gaucha at Rancho Santa Susana
You will visit a typical ranch in the Argentina prairie and taste its famous turnovers and barbecue, specially prepared by the locals. There will also be choice wines to enjoy, a traditional live Gaucho (cowboy) show and horse race known as the "carrera de sortijas" (ring race), as well as horseback rides.

Day 4: Full day excursion to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls

Today, you will head to northeastern Argentina and visit Iguazu Falls, experiencing one of the most impressive spectacles of nature, more than worthy to be called a natural wonder: a gigantic cascade of water that drops nearly 80 meters, accompanied by a host of rainbows. There are observation decks and lookouts that afford excellent views of the falls, which end up in the so-called Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat).

Day 5: Half day excursion to the brazilian side of Iguazu Falls

You will visit Brazil's Iguassu National Park, the largest of its kind in the nation's South, where the Iguazu River empties into a gigantic horseshoe-shaped canyon. During the trip, you will descend along a pathway, contemplating the wonder of nature that surrounds you.

Day 6: Rio de Janeiro

Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and lodge in the city.

Day 7: Full day excursion in Rio de Janeiro

Today, you will head out of your hotel in the direction of Cosme Velho, where the train and cable car station is located. Upon arrival, you will board a cable car that will take you to the top of Corcovado Hill and the Cristo Redentor statue (Christ the Redeemer). From this vantage point, you will have an awe inspiring vista of the city. After that adventure, you will descend to the city along the coastal streets of Copacabana and Ipanema, en route to the district of Urca, specifically to Praia Vermelha, to another cable car station. This time, the ride will take you to Pan de Azucar (Sugarloaf) Hill.

Day 8: Free day

You will have a free day to engage in the activities that you wish. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 9: Rio de Janeiro-Departure

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for your departing international flight.
