Arrival at Ushuaia
12 kilometers west of the city is the Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only protected area in the area, where you will see a wide variety of local wildlife. You will also visit La Ensenada, Lake Roca, and Lapataia Bay, hiking next to the lakeshore, beaver dams, and the bay and ending up very close to the Chilean border. Later that day, you will sail through the Beagle Channel and marvel at the splendor of the landscape that combines mountains, forests, and sea. The boat will pass by Mount Olivia and Mount Cinco Hermanos as well as Les Eclaireurs lighthouse. On the return trip, you will sail close to Lobos Island to observe sea lions and Despard Island, a natural habitat for imperial shags.
Today is a free day. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
