Half day tour Historic Center & Cerro Santa Lucia 

Today we’ll set off on a half-day walking tour around Santiago’s main points of interest.

Founded in 1541, Santiago is one of the oldest cities in Latin America. It has an overwhelming vitality and most of the city life of the country happens in its center. The city has beautiful parks and historic buildings of exquisite architectural styles that coexist with modernity. Our walking tour begins in the so-called lungs of the city, known as Forest Park: a huge forest with walkways and scattered works of art, as well as home to the Museums of Contemporary Art and Fine Arts. We’ll then climb the emblematic Santa Lucía hill where you’ll be able to take an incomparable photograph of the city – an unforgettable view. We’ll then head towards the Plaza de Armas (Main Square) with its magnificent buildings, such as the Correo, the National Historical Museum, the Municipality and the Cathedral. We’ll then go through the Palacio de la Moneda complex, which is both the presidential quarters and an important civic center. Finally, we’ll cross Bernardo O'Higgins Avenue or "Alameda", the backbone of the city, boasting with intense commercial, cultural and financial life.

Full Day Valparaíso & Casas del Bosque winery in Casablanca valley (Regular Services)

Today’s journey will take us from Santiago towards the coast, traveling through the fertile valleys of Curacavi and Casablanca with its vineyards, fruit plantations and forest reserves. We’ll travel 120 km to visit Valparaiso, a beautiful port city founded in the 16th century and declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Our visit to Valparaiso starts off with a panoramic tour of the emblematic places the city holds, such as the National Congress, O'Higgins Park, Italy Park, Victoria and Sotomayor squares and the Prat Pier, located in the port. We’ll then continue our walk through the wonderful Atkinson and Gervasoni lookouts, located on the most important hills of Valparaiso: Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepción. We’ll also get to ride on the old and picturesque cable cars, which to this day still connect the city. Finally, we’ll visit the Casas del Bosque Vineyard in Casablanca Valley, established in 1993 by a son of Italian immigrants, and one of the first in the area. The tour will start with a short film about the Casablanca valley and the winemaking process. Afterwards we’ll head to the winery, where we’ll have a tasting of 4 different types of wine.

At the end of the visit we’ll return to Santiago city and you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

In the morning you’ll be transferred from your hotel to Santiago airport to board a flight to Calama. Upon arrival you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

 

Half day visit to Moon Valley (afternoon tour)

Once you’ve settled into your hotel, in the afternoon, we’ll go out to explore the Valley of the Moon. After only 5 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama we’ll already have a first panoramic view of the Salt Mountain Range, with its extraordinary geological features and countless shades of different colors. During the tour we’ll first visit the Valley of the Dinosaurs and the Valley of Death.  We’ll learn all about its incredible stories and marvel at the sight of its dunes, perfect for sandboarding, as well as the impressive sight of mountains and volcanoes. We’ll then arrive at the Valley of the Moon, formerly known as Las Salinas (the Saltflats), vast lands made up of salt, water and clay of a white shade that will amaze you. There we’ll visit Los Flamencos National Reserve (National Reserve of the Flamingos), followed by the Central Crater which holds an exceptional view. The last part of the tour will take us to the Kari lookout, where we’ll end the day with an incomparable sunset. Finally, we’ll head back to San Pedro de Atacama, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

Full day Atacama Salt flat, Toconao and Altiplanic Lagoons 

Today’s adventure will take us to the Salar de Atacama (Atacama Saltflats), in Los Flamencos Nature Reserve, a place that will impress you from the start. It is the largest salt flat in Chile, characterized by its peculiar geological features resembling a lunar landscape – with clear skies and the flares of the sun’s rays on the water and the salt crystals, it’s an unforgettable and unrivaled spectacle. We’ll visit the town of Socaire, which stands out for its traditional cuisine based on the locals’ ancestral work with crop terraces and irrigation channels. Then, we’ll visit the Miscanti and Miñiques lakes, located at the base of the Andean volcanoes that bear the same names. There, walking through the trails we’ll marvel at the exceptional beauty of the landscape. We’ll continue our tour with a visit of Toconao village, with its original “Liparita” stone architecture, its cozy streets and a fantastic microclimate that favors fertile lands with lush trees, orchards and vineyards. We’ll then enjoy a delicious typical lunch at a local house in Socaire and afterwards return to San Pedro de Atacama.

Tatio Geysers and Machuca Town 

After breakfast we’ll embark on a trip to visit the Tatio Geyser, located at 4,300 meters above sea level. The amazing steam fumaroles from the geyser reach 50 meters in height and, combined with the imposing beauty of the Andes in the backdrop, they offer an exceptional sight. There, we’ll enjoy an exquisite breakfast prepared at the Geysers. Afterwards we’ll return towards San Pedro de Atacama traveling through beautiful copper-colored scenery, incredibly blue and clear skies, and landscapes filled with paja brava, a type of characteristic local vegetation home to many different species of flora and fauna such as vicuñas and the solitary Culpeo fox. We’ll continue the trip to the town of Machuca, a place of ancestral llama shepherds, llareta and sulfur extraction. Nowadays, this picturesque town with houses made of adobe, straw and cactus wood, is dedicated to tourism and the sale of local products such as Andean crafts, llama meat, sopaipillas and empanadas. At the end of the visit you’ll be dropped off at your hotel. In the afternoon, at a scheduled time, you will be transferred from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama to Calama airport to board a flight to Santiago, and then transferred to your hotel in the city.

At a scheduled time, you will be transferred from your hotel to Santiago airport to board a flight to Puerto Montt. Upon arrival, you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel in Puerto Varas.

Half day tour Osorno Volcano 

Our first excursion of the day sets off from Puerto Varas, also known as "the city of roses", heading towards the Osorno volcano. Bordering Lake Llanquihue, we’ll enjoy postcard-worthy views of the Osorno and Calbuco snowcapped volcanoes in the background until we reach the Ensenada sector where we’ll start the ascent to the Osorno volcano Ski and Mountain Center. There, we’ll enjoy an hour of free time to take in the unbelievable views, take some photographs and appreciate an incomparable view: the summit of the volcanoes with their eternal snow, the town of Cabulco, Lake Llanquihue and the Pacific Ocean. Optionally, you can have a cup of coffee or exquisite hot chocolate, or even take a chairlift up to Primavera Station at 1,450 masl, and Glacier Station at 1,750 masl, where you’ll get a breathtaking view of Lake Llanquihue.

 

Half day tour Visit to Llanquihue & Frutillar 

During the afternoon we’ll embark on a tour that will take us first to the city of Llanquihue, famous for its cold cuts and for being the place of origin of the Maullín River, part of the old Route of the Colonists. We’ll then border Llanquihue Lake to head towards Frutillar. This city is a beautiful town reminiscent of Bavaria, where its first settlers came from. It emerged in 1856 as a loading dock, but soon after tanneries, mills, breweries and other businesses emerged. We’ll walk around its beautiful ancient German-style houses, admiring its well-kept gardens and its magnificent views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes. Optionally, you’ll get to visit the German Colonial Museum that showcases the life of the settlers. Then, in its “Costanera” we’ll see the Teatro del Lago where the famous Frutillar Music Week is held annually, with a global turnout.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Puerto Varas.

Full day Peulla: Saltos del Petrohué, Sailing in Todos los Santos Lake, Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park

Today we’ll enjoy the wonderful experience of sailing in the Todos los Santos Lake. We’ll visit the world-famous waterfalls of the Petrohué River and then we’ll explore Peulla, a small ecological village of only 120 inhabitants. This picturesque place, part of the famous “Andean Crossing” tourist circuit is only accessible by water. After visiting the Petrohué River Falls and Peulla, we’ll enjoy sailing peacefully through Todos los Santos Lake, marveling at the beautiful views of Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes.

After reaching Puerto Varas port, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast you’ll be transferred from your Puerto Varas hotel to the Puerto Montt airport to board a flight to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival you will be assisted at the Punta Arenas airport and then transferred to the bus terminal to board a bus to Puerto Natales, a three-hour trip. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your selected hotel in Puerto Natales.

Full day Torres del Paine National Park and Milodon Cave

On this full-day tour we’ll get to visit two amazing natural monuments. First, the Milodon cave, one of the most important paleontological sites in South America. It consists of three caves where remains of "milodons" – extinct prehistoric herbivorous mammals of great dimensions – were found. We’ll then continue to Torres del Paine National Park, considered to be among the most beautiful places on the planet. On the way to the national park we’ll enjoy magnificent views of Lake Sofia, the Prat mountain range, Lake Porteño, among other places. A short walk will take us to an observation point, where we’ll see the iconic Cuernos del Paine (Paine Horns), and then continue to the Lake Grey sector. After a delicious lunch (not included in the rate), we’ll go to the viewpoint of Lake Nordenskiold, followed by a visit to Lake Amarga. The journey would not be complete without first visiting the Paine Waterfall, a beautiful spot where we’ll see the discharge of milky waters coming from the glaciers and that then end up in the Seno de Ultima Esperanza.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Puerto Natales.

Full day Navigation Balmaceda & Serrano Glaciers 

On our last day in Puerto Natales we’ll embark on an adventure to navigate through the Ultima Esparanza (“Last Hope”) fjord towards Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. Although the main objectives of the tour are the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, during the journey there we’ll get to know the history of Puerto Natales (Bories National Historic Monument) and we’ll marvel at the beauty and magnificence of the cascades and cliffs of the Condors. As we get closer to Mount Balmaceda we’ll finally see the Balmaceda glacier, an unforgettable sight and proof that there are places in nature that truly surpass the beauty of any photograph. We’ll continue our route to Puerto Toro, where we’ll hike through a native forest of coigües, ñirres and ciruelillos, until getting very close to the wall of the Serrano glacier – an amazing experience. Once back in the boat we’ll enjoy a refreshment served with ice from the glacier. On our way back to Puerto Natales, we’ll stop at a ranch for a typical lunch: a "Magellanic barbecue".

After breakfast, at the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the bus terminal in Puerto Natales to board a regular bus to Calafate bus terminal
