Day 2: Colonial and Modern

In the afternoon, we will visit the modern and colonial part of Lima,
well-known as "The City of Kings". We will start our tour through the
districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. On the way, we will pass through a
pre-Inca huaca. Then, we will stop at the "Parque del Amor", which is
located on the boardwalk of Miraflores, where we will enjoy a beautiful view of
the ocean coast.
Then, we will visit
the colonial part of Lima, the Historical Center, which includes: the
Government Palace, the Plaza Mayor, the Archbishop’s Palace, the City Hall and
the Cathedral. Additionally, we will visit the Santo Toribio Convent, one of
the most important convents of the colonial architecture.

Day 3: Lima - Cuzco
At scheduled time,
transfer from the hotel to the airport to take you flight to Cusco.
Arrival and transfer to the Sacred Valley (shared service)
In Cusco, you will meet with our representatives and then transferred to the
Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Once at the Sacred Valley you will have the rest of the day at leisure to
acclimated, the valley has a lower altitude compare with Cusco so it’s perfect
for the first day.

Day 4: Authentic Sacred
Valley

Today, we will visit a
picturesque Andean town called: Chinchero, where we will have the opportunity to
enter to a textile craftsman’s house. There, we will appreciate his original
works as well as learn about the techniques and the creative process when he do
his craft work. Then, we will visit the church and the archaeological center of
the town, built at the end of the 15th century. In our way to Ollantaytambo, we
will stop for a minute in a viewpoint, from where we will have one of the best
views of the Sacred Valley and we will be able to take beautiful pictures.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Finally, we will arrive at Ollantaytambo,
one of the most representative architectural complexes of the Inca Empire,
which served as a temple, military and agricultural center.
At the end of the tour, you will
be transfer to the train Station a Ollantaytambo.

choice in the Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu)
Day 5: Machu Picchu
You are going
to visit one of the most important energy centers of the world: Machu Picchu.
You will be driven to the archeological site, the visit of which will be an
unforgettable experience, with a professional tour guide to impart to you all
the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the
guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore the site on your
own, to relax, or to meditate.
At the agreed
upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train
later that afternoon for the return trip. Once you have arrived at the
Ollantaytambo Station, you will be driven to your hotel.

Day 6: Cuzco
Leisure Day at Cuzco
Discover the magic
of Cusco, the capital of the Inca Empire. Don’t miss to visit the Cathedral,
the Convent of Santo Domingo, Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), San Blas artisan’s
neighborhood and the nearby archeological sites as Sacsayhuaman.

You will enjoy discovering the incredible city
of Cusco, the colonial infrastructure with the foundation of Inca palaces. The
tour starts at the Korikancha, known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the
finest examples of colonial architecture built on an Inca temple and also
admire the neighboring Convent of Santo Domingo, one of the most noteworthy
Spanish colonial buildings of Cusco. The next point takes us to the Main Square
of Cusco to visit the Cathedral and the Church of La Compañia de Jesus (Society
of Christ) where you will have the opportunity to see a wide range of paintings
from Cusco’s School of Art, old writings, and works in gold leaf and embossed
silver.
Later,
we will continue and ascend to the ancient fortress and temple of Sacsayhuaman
park, shaped like a puma’s head it’s an excellent example of Andean
architecture. We will explore the remains of the stone labyrinth of Qenqo and
have a panoramic view the tower of Puca Pucara before heading back to the city.

Day 7: Cuzco, Lima

At
the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the bus station for the trip to
Puno.
The journey starts
leaving the bus station, you will enjoy the beautiful view of the south valley
of Cusco. On the way we have stops so you can take photos and appreciate the
panorama, the first stop is Andahuaylillas,
First stop is
Andahuaylillas, the most important attraction for the visitors is its church:
San Pedro de Andahuaylillas considered as the “Sistine Chapel” of America due
to the quality of its art pieces. Then,
we will stop to visit the Raqchi ruins, known as the “Temple of Wiracocha”,
this complex is one thousand hectares big because besides the gigantic wall
that protects the park, there are some constructions as aqueducts, underground
tombs and pre-inca enclosures. After that, you will enjoy of a delicious buffet
lunch at a local restaurant. At the end
of the lunch we will continue and visit the archaeological site of Pukara,
which was a military camp that also work as an administrative center; the we
will continue until arrive at the Puno Bus Station.
At your arrival in
Puno, transfer from the Bus Station to the Hotel of your choice in Puno.

Day 8: Saturday: Puno,
Copacabana, Sun Island
Breakfast
We will pick you up
early in the morning to take you to the first point of the tour, Copacabana. On
the way you will enjoy of the beautiful view of Lake Titikaka along the route,
once we get to this town located at the shore of the lake, we will visit the
famous church of the “Virgen de Copacabana” (Virgin of Copacabana). Then, we
will visit the Island of the Sun getting by boat with a trip that cross the
Lake (1 hour) until Huacani to try an Aptapi (the typical lunch on the
highlands), our excursion continues by boat till the Pilkokaina Inca Temple
ruins at the end you will hike to La estancia (1h approx.) to enjoy the beautiful
view of the Titicaca Lake.

Ecolodge La Estancia - Standard Cabin
An amazing spot located in the southern part of the Island of the Sun in
Lake Titicaca. It was built preserving the Andean architecture and combining
with the modern comfort, always respecting the harmony of the surrounding
nature and habitat. The cabins were constructed with adobe brick and thatch
roofs and were set between pre-Inca terraces. We do also use solar energy and
recycle waste at all levels.

Day 9: Sun Island, La Paz

Early in the morning we will visit the Inca Stairs and the Water of the
Eternal Youth on the way through Yumani, at the end of the descend the
excursion continues by boat to Copacabana, on the way we will visit the
Chincana Ruins, the Sacred Rock (1hour), the Island of the Moon (1 hour) and
the Inca Ruins of Iñak Uyu temple (1 ½ hour) At the end of the tour we will
take you to your hotel in La paz.

markets where you can find beautiful handicrafts, weaving and witchcraft items
and getting to the colonial part of the city, Gold Museum, San Francisco
Church, the Murillo Square, the viewpoint of “ Killi Killi” (Mirador Killi
Killi) and the Tiawanaku Temple replica; the we’ll descending to the modern
part of the city to reach a breathtaking valley at the foothills of the Andes
Range, Valley of the Moon; unique geological place where erosion has formed a
large collection of sandstone monoliths shaped over thousands of years, giving
the visitor the feeling of having discovered an unknown world, a true and
almost real lunar landscape. Ride by cable car “Teleférico”, it’s an excellent
choice to discover an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz. This is a must

This tour will take you out of the usual, guided by a “lustra bota” or
“shoeshiner”, visiting the most popular neighborhoods and markets of La Paz.
This walking city tour starts with a quick visit to the Cementery and then to
the “Fish Street Market”, the “Flower Market” and the “Uruguay Market” where you
can see different types of animals and food. The tour wil continue to the Eloy
Salmon Street, full with shops and stalls selling the latest technology, the
“Cholitas Market# where Cholitas can be seen shopping their traditional
clothes, as their skirts and blankets, the visit to the popular “Belen” dining
room and “Rodriguez Market”; the tour ends at the San Square, where the San
Pedro prison is located.
Following the tour is a “Teleférico” (cable car) ride, from which there
is an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz, it’s a great way to discover the
city!

Day 11: La Paz - Uyuni Salt Flats
Breakfast
Early in the
morning, transfer to the airport, to take your flight to Uyuni.
Arrival of your flight, pick up and transfer from the airport to the Hotel of
your choice in Uyuni.
You will be taken to the start of this tour and enter to this unique natural wonder of salt with an extension of over a 10km2 and with an altitude of 3692 m.a.s.l. Then we will visit the Village of Colchani, located at the shores, where the local produce salt. We will be entered by a natural highway which we will cross to get to “Isla Incahuasi” (2hours), the unique habitat of volcanic rocks and giant cactus. Then we will continue to the north to visit the pre-Columbian Aique Pucara fort and the the nearby Chullpas on the foothills of Tunupa volcano, then trip back to Colchani (2 hours), enjoying a beautiful sunset.

Day 12: Uyuni, La Paz

in the morning with a trip to the
Uyuni salt flats, catching the sunrise with a perfect and amazing view of the
landscape full of peace surrounded by water. It will be a moment that will last
the rest of your life. (This

At your arrival in La Paz, meet
with our representative and transfer to your hotel, enjoying the view of the
city and the snow-capped mountains on the way.
OPTIONAL TOUR: Tiwanaku Ruins (Half Day)
Located a 1½ hour from la paz, we will drive you to the Tiwanaku ruins; the area may have been inhabited as early as 1500BC, as a small farming village, but it was from 300AD to 1000AD that the city-state of Tiwanaku reigned supreme, becoming an administrative center and pilgrimage site of cosmological prestige as well as a predatory state, expanding its dominion throughout Bolivia and into Chile and Peru through war, politics, trade, and religion. So, it became the center of the Kingdom of Tiwanaku. T this excursion we will visit: The Kalasasaya temple and the Gate of the Sun constructed out of stone, Ponce and Fraile monoliths; the Akapana pyramid and the semi-underground temple. Also, two local museums to view pottery, stone work and learn about the culture are also included on this trip.
